Antex Western Ltd. is committed to conduct all of our business activitis in compliance with applicable Safety and Health Regulations and Codes of Practice and strive to eliminate or control any foreseeable hazards, which may result in personal injury, occupational illness or property damage.

We recognize that the responsibilities for safety and health are shared thus we encourage and expect complete, proactive participation by everyone employed by Antex Western Ltd.

We develop, implement and maintain an up to date safety and health program consistent with what we believe to be the best established management practices in a sincere effort to prevent the pain, suffering and economic losses attributable to accidents. This program does not take precedence over the current Act or any regulations under this Act.

An injury and accident free workplace is our goal. We accomplish this through continuous safety and loss control efforts. In order to achieve this goal we have implemented a program of zero tolerance to safety infractions for all those employed by Antex Western Ltd.

Safety Certificate

Antex Western has been one of the primary contributors to the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba COR program for our trades in the area of flooring and finishing. After achieving COR Certification from the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba in 2005, we didn’t just hang it on our wall. We used this certification as the platform from which we work. We earned this certification because of our deep-rooted commitment to efficiency, professionalism and safety; we are keeping it because of our continued recognition that every person in this company shares the responsibility for safety and health. In 2009 we continued our commitment to safety by achieving COR Certification from the Alberta Construction Safety Association.  Antex Western is also working towards achieving COR Certification from the British Columbia Construction Safety Association.

We are proud that our employees participate actively in this commitment by keeping a safe and clean jobsite as well as offer ideas and recommendations for improvements on matters of safety. We also develop, implement, and maintain current safety and health programming up to the very best management practices of our industry that is consistent in all of our offices in MB, AB and BC. Our employees understand that it takes everyone’s efforts to prevent the pain, suffering, and economic losses attributable to workplace accidents. An injury and accident free workplace is our goal. Through our continued efforts, we accomplish this.
